Today we will accomplish the following:


1. Get A Textable Phone Number

2. Connect Your Google Account

3. Connect Your Facebook Account

4. Send Your First Review Invite

1. Get A Textable Phone Number - To Text With Leads & Customers

If you reside outside of Australia, please follow these steps:

(Instructions not included in the video above)

  • Login To Your Stride Forward Account

  • Click on 'Settings' (Left hand menu at the very bottom)

  • Click on 'Phone Numbers' (Settings menu - Business Services section - phone numbers)

  • Click 'Add Number'

  • 'Search' for a mobile number (for texting services)

  • Choose your desired phone number (this is the number you'll use to text contacts)

Now let's forward calls from this phone number to your own phone number. Here's how to do this...

  • Click the 'Edit' pencil icon to the right of your new phone number

  • In the field 'Forward Calls To', type your phone number (ex. 0401 555 123)

  • Change 'Incoming Call Timeout' From 60 to 20 or 25

  • Click 'Update' and you're done 🎉

If you reside in Australia, please follow these steps:

  • Login To Your Stride Forward Account

  • Click on 'Settings' (Left hand menu at the very bottom)

  • Click on 'Phone Numbers' (Settings menu - Business Services section - phone numbers)

  • Click on 'Regulatory Bundle/Address' (Top menu) and then click the 'Create' button (Green button top right)

From here, obtaining an integrated mobile number in Australia requires a two-step process:

Step 1:

  • Click on 'Address Bundle'. (Note: you will need this created for the next step of creating a Regulatory Bundle.) Click 'Next' and enter the following details:

  • - Friendly name: enter the name of your business. (Note: make sure the name you put in here aligns with the official name of your business on your business/company registration documents).

  • - Customer name: enter your name (first name and surname).

  • - Address line: enter the official address of your registered business. If this is your home address, type this in.

  • - Country: enter Australia

  • - State/Province/Region: enter the state your company is registered in.

  • - City: enter the city or suburb.

  • - Postcode/Zip Code: enter the postcode as per the suburb you entered.

  • Ensure all details are correct and then click 'Submit'

  • This next screen now shows that your official address is automatically validated in Australia and is approved. This is all that is required for this part

Step 2:

  • Still inside of 'Regulatory Bundle/Address' (Top menu) click the 'Create' button (Green button top right)

  • Click on 'Regulatory Bundle'. Click 'Next'. Enter the following details:

  • - Select your country: Australia

  • - Select the user type: Business

  • - Type of number you planned to use: Mobile. (Note: you want a mobile number so you can text your clients. If you choose local or toll free, then you will not be able to text people.)

  • Click 'Next'

  • On the screen called 'Lead connector Phone Service' enter your business name then click 'Next'

  • Following the order of top to bottom, click on each of the following and provide the requested documents as attached files. (Note: there is only one type of document that you need that will meet all of the criteria for your business name, business address, and business ID number. This document is called 'Record of Registration for Business Name' and you can upload this in each instance requested below. Or you can provide one of the suggested documents instead.

  • - Business Name (you will need to reconfirm your business name in the box provided). Click 'Update Document'

  • - Business Address (Proof of Address). In the section called 'Select Document Type' select the document you have uploaded. In the section called 'Additional Information - Select Address' use the drop down box to select your business name. (Note: the business name you select will have your business address attached to this though the address is not visible in this screen, from the steps you completed in the Address Bundle in part 1. Click 'Update Document'

  • - Business ID Number (ABN or ACN). In the section called 'Select Document Type' select 'Commercial registry or equivalent. In the section called 'Additional Information - Document' enter your ABN or ACN. Click 'Update Document'

  • Click 'Submit'. It will now come up with a screen that says 'Regulatory Bundle Submitted Successfully' and have a green tick icon.

  • The next screen will show that the status is 'Pending Review'. It can take up to 24 hours for this process to be completed and approved, though it usually takes 7-8 hours on average. You may need to come back the next day to complete the proceeding steps.

  • Once approved, click on 'Manage' (Top right menu)

  • Click 'Add Number' (Top right green button under 'Phone Numbers')

  • Choose Australia from the 'Country' drop down menu

  • Leave the 'Area Code' box empty. (Note: You will be selecting a mobile number rather than a local landline telephone number on the next screen). Click 'Search'

  • Scroll down to find a mobile number of your choosing. Click 'Save' when you have the number you would like. (Note the associated fee for the selected number. This will be charged to your billing card as a one-time payment).

  • Under the section called 'Address' use the drop down to find the name of your business. (Note: the address is attached to this business name, though the address is not visible on this screen). Click 'Save'

  • Under the section called 'Bundle' from the drop down menu select the name of the account you created (the one that took 24 hours to be approved). Click 'Save'


Now let's forward calls from this phone number to your own phone number. Here's how to do this...

2. Connect Your Google Account - For Online Reviews


  • Login To Your Stride Forward Account

  • Click on 'Launch Pad' (Left hand menu at the very top)

  • Click on 'Connect' next to the Google Icon

  • Sign into your Google Account (the account that has your Google Business Profile connected)

  • Our app 'Lead Connector' will ask you to 'Allow' us to connect, click 'Allow'

  • You're connected! 🎉


One final step to help you automate your Google reviews...


  • Click on 'Reputation' (Settings Menu - Business Services - Reputation Management)

  • Under Review Link (Top Left), click on either 'Get Reviews on Google' or 'Get Reviews on Facebook'. The new review link will be visible on the right of the screen

  • Click 'Save'

  • Scroll down and Toggle 'On' Customise Review SMS & Customise Review Email

  • That's it! You're ready to start automating your reviews 🎉

3. Connect Your Facebook Account - To Streamline Facebook Messages To Your Inbox


  • Login To Your Stride Forward Account

  • Click on 'Launch Pad' (Left hand menu at the very top)

  • Click on 'Connect' next to the Facebook Icon

  • Sign into your Facebook Account

  • Our app 'Lead Connector' will ask you to 'Allow' us to connect, click 'Allow'

  • You're connected! 🎉


Now let's select your Facebook Business Page...


  • Click on 'Settings' (Left hand menu at the very bottom)

  • Click on 'Integrations' (Settings menu - Other Settings - Integration just below Phone Numbers)

  • Click on 'Select A Facebook Page'

  • Select Your Facebook Business Page From The Drop Down

  • Click 'Connect Page'

  • You're connected! 🎉

4. Send Your First Review Invite - To Get More 5-Star Reviews On Google


  • Login To Your Stride Forward Account

  • Click on 'Lightning Icon' (Left-hand menu next to the search box at the very top) Select "Send a Review Request"

  • Type In Contacts Name

  • Type In Contacts Phone Number (Or Email If You Prefer To Send An Email)

  • Click 'Send A Review Invite'

  • You got it! 🎉


Here's an alternate way to send a review invite...


  • Click on 'Reputation' (Left hand menu in the middle)

  • Click on 'Send Review Request' (Top Right Of Page)

  • Type In Contacts Name

  • Type In Contacts Phone Number (Or Email If You Prefer To Send An Email)

  • Click 'Send A Review Invite'

  • You got it! 🎉
